Being involved with hockey on a daily basis helped me to deeply understand the importance of constant learning. When does it come handy: anytime! Being a pro has taught me that you can never be perfect and there is always room for improvement. Live coaching: you bring the video, we watch it together and discuss in an interactive way (helps you understand and learn your own game the best)
Homework: we discuss what your coaches expectations are to make sure all we talk about aligns with what he/she wants. Then you send me your tape (practice or game) and get the corrected video back with comments and suggestions walking through your shifts.
Mentoring: Forget the video! I believe in learning from those who are far ahead of us on the road. I have mentored kids from U12-U18. Sometimes all you need is a deep discussion on how to fix things off the ice. Maybe you are having tough times in the locker room or just want to ask how to approach your coach about trying to improve. Whatever the subject is, we’ll find a way together to get through it!
